Equally popular in cinema, television and stage, Sushma Seth is known for playing role of the mother and the grandmother. She started her career in the late 1970s. She is mostly known for the role of dadi in pionering tv soap Hum Log (1984-1985). She is the founder member of the theatre group, Delhi- based Yatrik. She has worked with famous director like Dev Raj Ankur, Ram Gopal Bajaj, Manish Joshi Bismil and Chander Shekhar Sharma.
